Hello, I am a 25 year old woman who works in a newsroom and got hooked on Queer as Folk in February of 2014. After I got hooked, I got my mom hooked. She would never consider writing fanfic though. I, however, do not have as much pride as she does. I do not have a Beta reader, but I am willing to collaborate and let someone proofread my work and I will do the same for them.

As Justin makes his way through the crowd in Herald Square, he sees a man who is almost a stranger to him now.
When Brian hears over the radio that Babylon was subjected to a bombing, all he can concentrate on is racing to his club to make sure the people he loves are alive and safe. He doesn't expect to be irreversibly injured himself. As Brian faces a slow recovery and a permanent disability, he must learn to accept the support of his friends and the love of his partner.
Molly Taylor doesn't expect to fall into bed with Hunter Novotny-Bruckner, but when it does happen, she expects it to be a one time thing. With 2,500 miles between them and completely separate lives, the odds are stacked against them. Yet here they are, still talking and trying to make this work. They should have tied this up on New Year's Eve, at the absolute latest, even though it makes Molly's chest hurt to even think that. It would have been better for both of them. They could have avoided all of this pining.
The name 'Nathan Ash' was only one piece of the damaged puzzle that made up his life.
Sometimes Hunter felt like he was dead, sent to some version of Hell for stealing, for tricking, for ditching school, or for just being born. But his heart beating in his chest, sometimes at a slow and steady beat, sometimes at a rapid and panicked pace...It was that alone that made him realize he wasn't in Hell after all. This city, as shitty as it was to him, was his reality.

Emmett Honeycutt never thought having kids was in the cards for him. So when Drew brings it up, genuinely and honestly, his response isn't an immediate yes or no.
A post-canon but pre-Intersect tale on how Emmett and Drew come to terms with their worries and concerns in order to start a family.
(Empire) Andre Lyon always had a problem with letting people in. He never expected it to happen. He really didn't expect to find himself sitting in a bathtub with a white girl he's never met so they could drink vodka straight from the bottle. He didn't expect it to be the best part of his night either. It's only been an hour but this girl has him doing and saying things he wouldn't even consider.
A multi-chapter story revolving around the first few years of Andre and Rhonda's relationship
Emmett Honeycutt has the best birthday of his life only to lose one of the most important people in it the very next day. As he fights with himself on whether or not to return to a family and town that hates him in order to say his last goodbyes, he gets support from an unlikely friend. This is a pre-series story based around Emmett Honeycutt and his strange but undeniable friendship with Brian Kinney.
Justin should have caught on sooner. Like when Brian had forgotten his storyboards at home or blanked out when it came to the name of an object. But he didn't. Even though he should know better, he wonders if catching on more quickly would have made much of a difference in his partner's fate.
There's a new king of Babylon and, honey, he's not getting overthrown any time soon!
When Michael falls deathly ill, Ben has never been more afraid in his life. No, scratch that. When Michael falls deathly ill and disappears out of thin air minutes before the ambulance arrives, Ben has never been more afraid in his life. All he wants to do is find his husband, alive and well, and to feel like he's not going crazy. He'd also love it if this duck would stop stalking him and breaking into his house. It's the last thing he needs right now.
Justin figured he would have a lot of unexpected things happen to him once he went to Hollywood to work on Rage. But dying within the first week of his arrival was just a bit extreme.
Justin's thought process the morning he leaves for New York.
Justin notices a change in Brian's morning routine. Set in early season 2. Semi AU.
"My name is Brian Kinney. I am 6 years old and in the 1st grade."

Marilyn has five guilty pleasures:
1. A good romance novel
2. Soap Operas
3. Getting her nails done
4. A pint of cherry ice cream
5. Indulging in her enchantments and mischievous spirit by pairing up people who don't belong together in order to teach someone a lesson.
When all Daphne does is refer him to a Janet Jackson song to use as a method to win Brian's heart, Justin thinks she's not trying that hard. He ends up being very wrong.
Ted gets off a plane in his home town and greets his new life after failure. Takes place in February 1997.
Joan Kinney doesn't like to question the Lord's rule. But sometimes it happens anyway.
Despite what others might assume, Brian Kinney actually liked his neighbor.
Sometimes Todd says he's fine but he really isn't. A pre-series fic revolving around Todd and his life.
Brian realizes that Justin doesn't have enough room for him in his new life in L.A. He just needs to figure out how to accept that.
