Hey, thanks for checking my page. Since 2009 I've performed as an admin for Whispers. Today, my title is Tech Support for both this website, and the new one being created: SSW.Media, to be launched someday soon hopefully.
All the Contact Us emails first reach me since most of them or technically related, and if they are admin stuff like story problems, etc., they get forwarded to the right person to help you.
The photo's me, and looks way better when I was 16, than my current age of 63 :)
FYI, it's still hard for me to part my hair.
**FEATURED STORY MAY 2014**
Egypt in the 1920's. Tourism is up thanks to the discovery of King Tut's tomb and the Taylor family decide to spend their holiday there. It is a decision they will regret when their newly graduated son, Justin, is kidnapped by bandits. Will the handsome American businessman, Brian Kinney, be the one to come to the young man's rescue and how will it change both their lives? A huge thank you to Eka for the perfect banner and Pat for doing beta for me.
Once again I wanted to read this great story of yours and did today. It was partly your writing that got me interested in QAF fan fiction to begin with, and this story has always been an all time favorite of mine. Thank you so much for writing it.
My dear Bob, it is always such a pleasure to receive comments from you on any of my stories. I have such respect for your own work. If I had even the slightest impact on your taking up writing fanfic, then I am truly honored. I have not been able to produce any new work for quite some time for many different reasons, but just knowing that my old work is still appreciated is the ultimate compliment. Thank you so much for reminding me why I took up writing in the first place so late in life and how rewarding it has become. Huge hugs, Grammy
I went to your home page and looked at your work, Ages ago before joining this site or reviewing (my bad) i remember reading this story and i totally love the shit out of it. I couldn't stop reading it; it's that good. Let me jump in now and say i'm sorry I didn't review every chapter but loved it non the less. I was nieve then and didn't realize the importance or reviewing for the writers. This story was one terrific read grammy.
OMG, JTSecrets, what wonderful comments. You have truly made my day. You are so right about comments. They do make a writer feel good about their work. It's just human nature. I am grateful for all my readers but it is an extra thrill to know their names. It makes it even more personal. When I had the time to read a lot I always left feedback. I never seem to have much reading time anymore but someday, when the girls are grown, I hope to have more time to myself again so that I can both read, write, and indulge in all the other wonderful adventures the internet has provided me. (Can you believe that less than a decade ago I swore I would never let anyone get me onto a computer? LOL)
I'm extremely glad you enjoyed my Egyptian story since it is truly one of my own personal favorites. It was so much fun researching that period of time and that part of the world as I wrote it. I still have friends who mention the sex on camel idea. Don't ask me where that thought came from. It just popped into my head one day and I knew I had to write it. Thank you again so very much for letting me know what you thought of the story. It is truly appreciated. Big hugs, Grammy
I decided to read this story again and leave comments for each chapter. Already I see I probably forgot how it ends.
A slave Justin is so hot to imagine. Reading on...
Brian should enjoy his new toy and help him.
I wonder how many chapters until they get together.
Looks like Brian will be stuck with Justin for a while.
Fun on a camel; how foreignly romantic.
Reading about a virgin Justin is so delicious.
It's about time they got together; that was hot too.
Oh dear, I had no idea I missed your comments way back in 2010. I try so hard to never miss thanking anyone for taking time to comment. I really am grateful to you for writing this, even if it is 4 years late. Hugs, Grammy
Now I know why I loved this story; I'm very happy to read it again.
Jennifer coming to Egypt will be something special I'm sure.
That was close; I'm glad I don't remember this story so I can enjoy it again.
I sense a winding up to something now.
Yes I love this story rich is so much exotic details.
So the meeting of mother and son is at hand.
This is getting very interesting indeed. Great writing of the meeting.
I like how Justin already decided to stay with Brian; smart puppy.
I wonder what Jennifer learns at the Liberty Inn.
Well that went well; leave it to the gossip of Debbie and Emmett to break the ice.
Once more I have been greatly entertained by your writing.
I'm so sorry it took so long to respond to your fantastic reviews on this story, JT. Life has been kicking my rear end all over the place, but I still should have made time for your thoughts as you did for me. Mea culpa! I do want you to know that it is an absolute pleasure to hear from you. I'm so glad you enjoyed this story. I had a Greek friend who asked if I could write a story that had either a Greek or Egyptian setting. The minute she mentioned Eqypt, I could picture our boys under the Pyramids. The story just flowed from there. The camel loving was a favorite of mine. Another friend said something about the fact that our boys could make love almost anywhere imaginable and for some odd reason, camels popped into my head. I guess you could say that I have a strange imagination. LOL! Again, let me thank you for your great encouragement for my stories. It is more welcome than I can say. The warmest of hugs, Grammy
Looks like a great choice for featured story of the month on our home page.
Thank you doesn't quite do it. To say that I feel honored to have this story chosen as featured story is putting it too mildly. This is truly one of the stories that I enjoyed writing the most. Just the research alone for the time period and location was thrilling. To have the entire story enjoyed by my fellow QAFers is the icing on the cake. However I must say thank you, because that is how I feel...thankful. Warmest hugs, Grammy
Who knew that Brian Kinney would ever be owned by a cat - let alone two.
smiley face again - LOL - thanks Bob - I rarely get reviews and even rarer do I get stars - sigh - such is life
***Featured Story for April 2015***
One of my favorites, but not very Ethan friendly. Justin is lonely, and needs someone to talk to, so he picks a name out of the phone book. Of course, the name he chooses is Brian's. He begins sending letters to "Mr. K," telling him about his life. Brian has no idea who is sending him the letters (maybe it's a crazy person!), but finds himself anticipating receiving the next one.
Made a featured/blue ribbon story on this date.
(Admins don't featured their own stories - another admin does it)
Justin is being swallowed in his depression at the way his life is going and how even the people who are supposed to love him seem to hate him. Will meeting Brian make a difference or is it too late for him??

Disclaimer:I do not own the boys or any other characters from the show, I'm playing with them, but I'll give them back when I'm done. I swear.
This starts out so sad I wonder if I can stay with it. Very well written and disturbing.
